AThe Cartonnerie has been a contemporary music scene in the city of Reims since 2005, and has three stage spaces (including a large room with 1200 seats), six rehearsal studios and a Le Floor restaurant. Throughout the year, the structure offers artistic support, workshops for young audiences, exhibitions or training. Every summer, she produces the festival La Magnifique Society. La Cartonnerie is directed by Lucas Vionnet.

National centre for musical creation since 2006, Césaré’s mission is to promote the emergence of original works. Welcoming year-round artists in residence or in production, the center is also a place of transmission and meetings between them and the public. It has three studios, one of which can accommodate 80 people. Philippe Gordiani is the current director. Protean artist, he is a musician: guitarist, producer of electronic and electroacoustic music, improviser.

Centre dramatique national de Reims, the Comédie celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019. Formerly the Maison de la Culture André Malraux, it has four stage spaces: a large and small rooms, a studio and a workshop – for a total capacity of 1,350 seats. The dramatic centre also has a restaurant/bar. Designed for artists, it is an open and shared home with the public and celebrates contemporary theatre creation and production. Nominated in 2019, Chloé Dabert is the director of the theatre.

The Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain Champagne-Ardenne is rich with a collection of 900 works of art, around themes such as art and life, art and encounter, art and celebration, art and play. Since 1984, it focuses on current creation and ensures its dissemination and awareness in the region around exhibitions, conferences, or special weekends. Marie Griffay has been running the establishment since 2017.

Since 2000, the Manège – Scène nationale de la Ville de Reims – has been conducting a multidisciplinary project dedicated to the movement arts of dance, circus, puppetry and the forms located at the crossroads of these disciplines. The venue has two performance spaces: a theater (475 seats) and a permanent circus (800 seats), as well as a rehearsal studio and a catering area. It provides year-round support for companies and artists. The venue has its own festival : Born to be a live, which takes place every year in the fall. Since 2015, Bruno Lobé has been at the head of the establishment.

For more than 30 years, the Nova Villa association has been offering cultural events for young people and families – from nursery to high school, from early childhood to adolescence – with several events every season including Kiosques (dedicated to journalists), M’auteurs (encounters d’auteurs) or the highly anticipated Méli’môme, a festival for young audiences created in 1989. Now located at the Cellier, the association benefits from its spaces (two performance halls and an exhibition space) to support and promote a rich cultural life. Joël Simon has been managing the association since its creation.

Inaugurated in 1873 and named the Opéra de Reims in 2010, the venue consists of a 750-seat Italian-style theatre and a rehearsal room. Hosting companies in residence, the Opera’s mission is to make lyrical and choreographic works accessible and to participate in their development. The Opera also has its own dining area. A collective of artists, the company Les Frivolités Parisiennes, has been running the structure since July 2023.
