The Agence culturelle Grand Est is associated with the FARaway 2023 festival and is organizing a professional day whose objective is to highlight the possibilities offered by the European cross-border experience in the field of artistic creation and distribution. In cooperation with the Grand Est Region, national partners and many European and cross-border cultural actors, this day invites artistic project leaders to learn about the essential tools for setting up a project across borders.

La Termitière and Salia Sanou
Led by choreographers Salia Sanou and Seydou Boro, the Centre de Développement Chorégraphique La Termitière in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) welcomes artists, administrators, and producers from all over the world who work to develop the place of choreographic art and culture in the city. This season, the Termitière is associated with FARaway. On this occasion, the Manège has given carte blanche to Salia Sanou and La Termitière to accompany him in the programming of this edition of the festival. In this context, eight students from La Termitière are invited to present a recreation of Salia Sanou’s Clameur des arènes. The group will also attend the festival and participate in a masterclass given by the choreographer Nina Santes, associate artist at Le Manège until 2024 with the collective La Fronde.
