Thirty years after the civil war, just as the signs of a major economic crisis began to emerge, and with the country rocked by corruption scandals, the Lebanese people embarked on the biggest revolutionary leap in their history.

Up to two million Lebanese citizens took to the streets to denounce a corrupt, unfit, nepotistic political class, responsible for the dramatic economic crisis into which the country was sinking deeper and deeper every day. Across the country, the Lebanese people protested together, without distinction of religion or community. “One, one, one! The Lebanese people are one!” Over the course of one year, from the very first evening of the revolution to the explosion of the port of Beirut, this unprecedented revolt was captured on film.
