Radio Live seeks to portray today’s socio-politically-conscious youth. Following their documentary series on France Inter and France Culture, Aurélie Charon and Caroline Gillet offer the microphone to some of the people they met over the course of their international tour (Algiers, Moscow, Tehran, Istanbul, Sarajevo, Beirut, Gaza, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Casablanca, New Delhi, Bombay, Dakar, etc.). The live and spontaneous views of these young people, present on set, are combined with documentary archives, live music and drawings by Amélie Bonnin, created in real time. A theatrical radio show, filled with real people and brimming with optimism, it provides a welcome alternative to the empty, declamatory speeches that tend to occupy the public space.
