Grand Collective Warm-Up at Le Manège (Au Cirque)

Discover Argentine Tango: a social dance, a sensitive and tactile dialogue founded on listening to the other and sharing movement.

Led by Rémi Esterle, this workshop is open to everyone, offering a chance to collectively explore the richness of this danced encounter. Rémi Esterle began his career as an acrobat and co-author for the Archaos company. He then moved towards contemporary dance, followed by hip hop with the Massala company. He decided to dedicate himself to tango in 2009. Parallel to his activities as a dancer and choreographer, he is involved in numerous cultural outreach projects.

Sur un air latino (To a Latin Tune) with Le Manège (Au Cirque)

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM / Ages 16 and up

Echoing several performances programmed during Le Manège‘s season, the Sur un air latino workshops are an invitation to connect Latin dances and contemporary creation. A key question runs through the workshop: how do artists take hold of known references, stemming from South American cultures, to create a piece rooted in the present?

The piece Último helecho navigates various practices and references – notably Argentine folklores and Baroque mythologies. During this workshop, François Chaignaud and Nadia Larcher will share their journey through rhythms, song, and dance. Reflecting their own encounter, they will confront and intertwine their respective practices.
