Tafé Fanga ? Le Pouvoir du pagne ? is the loud and proud declamation of what every Malian, African, and European woman experiences or has already experienced, at least once in her lifetime. Here, a platform is given, where women have the right to speak in their own words. The gag has been removed, allowing the lips that have long remained sewn together to be free. The work is also a silent call for help and a cry of exasperation against the violence of society, whose acts, gestures, and reactions are suffered by women. Women suffer from being considered inferior, incapable, or simply women. Tafé Fanga? Le Pouvoir du pagne? highlights the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the socio-economic development of women, regardless of their ethnic, racial, religious, socio-economic, or educational background.
