La Comédie

How can we talk about the destruction of life as we know it? Miranda Rose Hall’s text offers an evening of exchange and shared reflection, where all living creatures, humans in particular, are the focus. A look at our past and the urgent need to take action to guarantee a future.

Talking on stage about the sixth mass extinction in progress, without contributing to it, is the exciting challenge at the heart of this show, created as part of a European experiment. Entrusted to different artists across the continent, the staging of the text by American author Miranda Rose Hall aims for maximum ecological sustainability, along with the obligation to be performed by a woman from an ethnic minority. David Geselson makes use of these constraints to offer his version of a play that is at once sensitive, inventive, and stimulating.
