This is an invitation for toddlers to discover the wonderful world of baroque music through play! They are encouraged to touch, take and examine the contents of five chests containing works of art and drawings, while listening to music. Artists introduce us to the music and instruments of the Rubens era. Did you know that this artist loved cabinets of curiosities? He even had a cabinet of curiosities or “Miribilia” especially built and designed a garden in memory of his travels through Italy, France and England. Places like these were the precursors of museums. In Curiosa, four performers accompany the public as they discover the contents of five treasure chests: an exciting and fascinating range of natural, exotic and rare objects.
