The Reims-based Caminito de Tango association invites audiences to an evening where they can discover and enjoy Argentinian tango, along with the opportunity to taste some national delicacies.

The evening will begin with a lecture by Odile Fillion, the Buenos Aires ambassador for The tango of Paris, who offers her unique take on the history of Argentinian tango, far from the legend, as explored in her book The Invention of Tango. The Amazing Story of Charles Seguin, followed by a book signing.

The public can then attend a demonstration by the association’s teachers, showcasing the richness and diversity of the three varieties that comprise tango.

The evening will conclude with a milonga, an Argentinian ball, a festive and convivial moment that reflects the very spirit of Argentinian tango: encounter, dialogue, and shared pleasure.
