In the performance She has a problem being a good girl [frou frou feelings], Susie Green reveals a world of feminine power through a serpentine text, written in the style of a personal diary. Her reflections are intertwined with past memories, or in her own words, with “braided ribbons of colour, a scent in the air or the rhythm of a song that we don’t fully remember”. Susie Green (b. 1979) lives and works in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. She has recently participated in several solo exhibitions: Madame Fantasy (2024) Quench Margate; Hyperarousal (2022) JW Anderson, London; Empty rooms full of love (2021) with Cathy Josefowitz at the FRAC Champagne Ardenne, as well as group shows: Soft Touch, Galerie Sultana, Arles (2023) amongst others. The performance is followed by a drink and discussion with the artist.
